Spent
Fuel Verification Training Course |
| Channel
Systems, in partnership with SKI
and the CNSC,
successfully delivered the first Spent Fuel Verification
Training Course for all verification instruments
(DCVD-e,
CVD, SFAT and IRAT). Eleven inspectors from the
IAEA
and Euratom
participated in this intensive training program
held at IAEA Headquarters in Vienna and at the
Ringhals nuclear power plant in Sweden. |

UV
Zoom Lens Field Tests |
| Channel Systems has completed
successful field tests of our new 80 - 200
mm UV zoom lens with our DCVD imaging system.
The wavelength-corrected lens performed extremely
well. The lens is designed for both UV and
VIS applications (250 - 700 nm). Focus and
zoom control is accomplished with built-in motors. |

Channel Systems delivers LabVIEW
software for MTS 407 hydraulic control application |
| Channel Systems provided software
design and integration services to PAMI/WESTEST
as part of the comprehensive Tractor Testing System
for the government of Mexico. Channel Systems produced
the LabVIEW code and user interface for four testing
stations, which include tractor cab roll-over protection
(horizontal and vertical), 3-point hitch testing,
and hydraulic power supply testing. |

Nuclear fuel field-testing
of DCVD for missing pins identification |
| Nuclear fuel safeguards experts from
Channel Systems visited the Forsmark reactor facility
in Sweden to collect images of fuel assemblies containing
missing or substituted pins. The fuel was imaged
using the latest version of the DCVD. Data collected
is being analyzed and the results will be presented
at the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management
Conference in Nashville in July. |
